Life has been life'ing 🥴 Shane is graduating from high school on May 31st, and we have been trying to get in as much family time as possible. We were able to attend the soft opening for @riceboxed in Rice Village, and the food was bomb! As a lover of the 90s and most things old school, I felt like the restaurant was giving off NYC Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles vibes. It was very cool in there, and the kids loved it.

Ya'll!!! I have been burned by the bag salads at the grocery store too many times. I am over them. I normally grab 3 to 4 bags of ready to eat salad and have them during the week for or dinner depending on how the day goes. Lately 😒...the salads have not been salading (yes, I made that a word).

This is my play on an easy Cobb Salad that will last longer than those bags. Let me know what you think.

In a 32 oz jar:
-Salad Dressing
- Seasoned Chicken
- Cucumbers
- 1 Chopped Boiled Egg
- Cheese
- Turkey Bacon
- Leafy Greens

✌🏾 out 2022! My family and I were able to experience our first family cruise, this is my Shane's last year in high school, Clark's last year in elementary school, our real estate company is doing well, work and photography has me booked and busy. Ya girl turned from a struggle gardener to a real farmer working on a greenhouse. I got 12 tomatoes 😝 I got to bust several moves at concerts and I'm on a steady path to be debit in the next couple of months. My sweet Granny Dora went to be with the Lord, which hasn't been easy, but I know she is up there watching over us. Let's go 2023, I already juiced, decluttered, washed and folded laundry and washed my hair...I'm ready 🤗

I know the "in thing" to do is to have 5-30 second reels, but I had too good of a time to chop my Christmas up. With all of the craziness and uncertainty in the world, I'm Blessed. We had a fun Christmas with games, music and good food. My kids are healthy, I'm healthy, Shane got a great scholarship to his one and only college choice, Mark and I are renovating our third rental property, I'm booked and busy with photography and I have some bomb friends and family. My little sister and I won for Best Sister a Brother Could Have 😝 This was the first Christmas since Granny and my Mom's first birthday without her Mom. We miss her greatly but know that she has to be up there watching over us. Especially since I'm 🤏🏼 close to convincing Mark that I need a greenhouse because my potted plants are thriving while the ground ones say find me 🥴. Keep directing those blessings my way!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! This year, my sister and I traded out the traditional Mac and Cheese, dressing, and turkey for a whole Fiesta! We had nachos, beans, soft tacos, fried tacos, fajita chicken, beef and shrimp, enchiladas, Mexican rice, cilantro lime rice, and roasted corn. And all the fixings with the sauces, picos, lettuce, and more. Our Thanksgiving Fiesta was a success, even though we were missing a few. @classicallycarii

I attended the @hotalinginsuranceservices Grand Op

I attended the @hotalinginsuranceservices Grand Opening last week and had a blast with my BFF @nuepps 💚 I love my family, and I love hanging out with my friends. I can do both. I have been trying to work on that balance for the past couple of months. Nu and I have a standing monthly friend catch-up date. Even if we just hit up the Waffle House for the All-Star Special (I could use a Waffle and hashbrowns now 🤔). We make it a point to hang out without our family to laugh and cut up because it's a form of self care, baby!

We tried our hand at @kurasushi_usa - the revolving sushi bar for dinner the other night, and the kids loved it. There was a robot that brought our drinks to the table. Besides the revolving sushi of everything on the menu, you could order specialty items that would stop at your table. There was a slot in the table to put your plates that calculated your bill based on the size and color of the plate. Pretty cool experience overall for our #DinnerStruggles
